An Open Challenge to You—and to the Congress Party

Do not malign the entire Chartered Accountancy profession through sweeping, politically motivated allegations.

If you possess evidence that any Chartered Accountant has facilitated tax evasion, disclose the name, documents and case details publicly and submit them to the Income Tax Department and ICAI. I give you my word: I will personally demand the strictest action against every professional found guilty.

But if you cannot produce credible evidence, withdraw your reckless statement and apologise to the nation’s Chartered Accountants.

CAs are not anyone’s “C-Team”. They are statutory professionals who audit businesses, strengthen tax compliance, expose financial irregularities and contribute enormously to India’s economic system. Individual wrongdoing must be punished—but defaming an entire profession merely to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unacceptable.

My direct challenge to the Congress Party is this: either disclose the names and evidence, or publicly disown and remove the person making these defamatory allegations from the party.

Let there be an impartial investigation. No guilty person should be protected—whether a Chartered Accountant, businessman, officer or politician. But neither should an honourable profession be used as a punching bag for cheap political propaganda.

Produce the evidence—or apologise. The country deserves facts, not fabricated accusations.
