A decade of delay ends now. 🎓
During my visit to the UWI (Debe) Campus yesterday I outlined the restoration process aimed transforming a long-neglected project into a living gateway of opportunity.
With works underway and a clear plan in place, my Government is committed to opening the campus for students, creating jobs, and revitalizing communities.
Your UNC Government continues to work for you and deliver on our promises.
Listen to my full address:
People look down on certain jobs and call them “unimportant.”
But imagine a world where garbage is never collected, bricks are never laid & farm animals are never fed.
The truth is: Some of the most “invisible” jobs are the ones holding your entire life together.
Beware of the “anti-limers.”
People who say
“Yuh wasting time.”
“Stop liming.”
“Hustle more”
Sounds productive… until you realize:
We weren’t made to just work.
We were made to celebrate.
No one remembers the extra hours they work but they always remember a good lime.
In Trinidad, a mosque, a church, and a temple can exist within walking distance…
Not in competition.
Not in conflict.
But peacefully in coexistence.
Some countries are still fighting for that.
And here we are, living it daily.
We don’t talk about that enough.
You fought valiantly to the end.
You carried the weight of the dreams, hopes and unrelenting character of our region on your shoulders.
You inspired millions and captivated the hearts of many around the world.
To our Men In Maroon, WI are proud of you!🌴🏏❤️
For as heavy-handed as we thought Doc and Colm were, I never felt like they hated Trinidad and Tobago. It felt like parents doing what they thought would be best for the long run despite harsh delivery. But the group we have now? Nah, they hate us for real and in big.

But ppl who working in town and living south
2 hours to come 2 hours to go day in day out n is a cool scn lol
