Solche Vorfälle sind Teil der seit Jahren dokumentierten Grooming-Gang-Skandale in Großbritannien, bei denen britische Behörden wiederholt aus Angst vor Rassismusvorwürfen nicht entschieden genug gegen Tätergruppen mit Migrationshintergrund vorgegangen sind.
