Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ravi Pandit. Got to know him at @PuneIntCentre. One time on the topic of Social Innovation he said something I still remember today: India is a land of thousand silent revolutions. He was always optimistic and supportive. Om Shanti.
At @LavniVentures we are pleased to participate in a follow-on funding round of @MonitraHealth and be part of the efforts to bring improved Cardiac Diagnostics and Health around the world. #startup

At PIC’s Social Innovation Hub, we believe in enabling ideas that create meaningful social impact. Through our fellowship programme, we work closely with young researchers and practitioners—offering mentorship, guidance, and shared support services to help shape impactful work.
📝We are pleased to share the Fellowship Papers 2026—three research studies emerging from this programme, addressing critical themes across health, livelihoods, and gender.
We are grateful to Juthika Patankar for her guidance and mentorship in shaping these three fellowship papers.

Happy to announce @LavniVentures' follow-on investment in @PadcareL
Have seen @Ajinkya_Dhariya and the team close up from early days - the attention to service quality & customer satisfaction, HSE compliance & employee wellbeing will continue to power them to the next stage.
In 2018, PadCare didn’t start with a pitch deck. It started at a landfill.
I was speaking to a Safai Karmchari and asked a simple question: “What happens to sanitary waste?” The answer exposed a gap no one wanted to own.
Sanitary waste was being burned, buried or ignored. No system. No dignity. No accountability. That moment stayed with me.
Today, I am grateful to share that @PadcareL has raised $3 million in Pre-Series A round, backed by long-term, mission-aligned investors- @Rainmatterin, @3one4Capital , @BrigadeReap @ Pratul shroff and participation from existing investors @ 3ipartner, @LavniVentures who also believe in building real infrastructure for sanitary waste recycling.
But this isn not a victory post.
This fundraise is a responsibility to our customers, our team, and the category we’re building. Over the years, PadCare has grown into a platform serving 700+ organisations across 24 cities, staying focused on execution, compliance, and measurable ESG impact, often years ahead of regulation.
We have had tough phases too. There were moments when survival itself felt uncertain. What kept us going was not optimism, it was a belief from customers, a team that showed up every day, and the conviction that this problem had to be solved properly.
- This milestone allows us to double down on what matters.
- To our customers, thank you for believing early.
- To the PadCare team, this is your achievement.
- To everyone working on ignored problems, keep building.
Still Day One. Back to first principles.
Wonderful exhibition in #Pune by ReFAB Studio and Creative Club called 'The Fabric of Our Lives'.
Inspiring seeing the creativity of so many #Pune artists. A third of the sale price goes to charity.
These files are large to read through one by one. Anyone tried machine reading the SCANs and compare side by side per ward using AI? #pmcelection the tools I used fail at OCR
Go and verify your candidates in upcoming PMC elections. Don’t vote just because someone is your favourite.
This election affects you directly; it decides water supply, infrastructure, sanitation, and permissions for almost everything you do in Pune.
