@JayStock17@MT_6226@CacheThatCheque Oh, you didn't know that South Korea manages immigration much better than Japan? I hardly ever see any serious anti-immigrant or xenophobic issues in South Korea. They even have a dedicated department that deals with multicultural affairs.
This one took my picture without consent and put a totally wrong narrative. Fyi, I WAS PAID TO WEAR THE KIMONO WITH HIJAB. The kimono shop wanted to attract more Middle East customers.
@mufmufmuf You should sue them. X (Twitter) is giving a free pass to unethical people who spread made-up stories just to farm engagement and profit from them.
@OliverJia1014@CacheThatCheque If you want to understand this better, just ask well-educated Vietnamese people directly. They'll be happy to explain it in more detail.
@OliverJia1014@CacheThatCheque Most Vietnamese in the West are highly educated, many graduated from top universities in Vietnam. In contrast, many Vietnamese who go to Japan as workers come from poorer areas where university access is limited and school dropout rates are higher.
@Senpai13001 I've noticed that they often avoid showing the child's face, possibly because they don't think the child is good-looking. This seems to be particularly common among Korean men😅
@bunburyoudoujp 3/ Also, AC IV Remake is getting a lot of positive hype right now. Since you've been living in Japan since 2006, I assume you're middle-aged by now. Maybe that's why you don't follow gaming closely and aren't much of a gamer these days.
@bunburyoudoujp 1/ AC fan here. Ubisoft rarely reveals AC sales figures, but the franchise has a massive fanbase, so Shadows probably sold well enough despite the backlash. That doesn't necessarily mean it recouped its development costs, though.
@bunburyoudoujp 2/ Ubisoft's financial troubles weren't caused by this game alone. Most of those losses came from several other projects and business decisions over the years, not just Shadows
@kuroneko090824 Most foreign workers employed by companies in Japan pay taxes and social insurance, so they are eligible for those benefits. Did you think foreign workers don't pay taxes?
@0Jfu7n7v Don't you know what type of visa they're on? If they work for a medium-sized or large company, they're allowed to bring their family with them. But low-skilled workers generally aren't.
@LTYokota@angrygunmonkeys@detroitotaku He uses a tool/script for auto-blocking. Even without any interaction at all, you can still get blocked. Once he blocks you, your posts won’t show up on his X timeline anymore.
@syupure_gazou10 Now that AI can create realistic fake people and images to smear female politicians, those kinds of tactics no longer mean much anymore.
@karanewjeans@CaskieYT@gaijinthoughts Even wealthy Chinese people can still meet those requirements. The law unintentionally creates an opportunity for the number of Chinese ppl in Japan to increase, while the number of ppl from other countries decreases
@airkatakana Who is Hasan Piker? And from the perspective of a Vietnamese person like me, I honestly still don’t understand why you hate Jeff Hall. I’ve followed Jeff’s news coverage and so far I haven’t really seen any issue with it.
