I don't care what Trump says about Lebanon not being included in the ceasefire agreement, the Pakistani PM is no amateur. He would not have said Lebanon was included if it was not. My suspicion is that there may have been, at most, "constructive ambiguity", or rather "destructive ability", over this question—i.e. an agreement to leave the question vague so that Iran could go ahead with the deal and not make it seem as if it were abandoning Hezbollah. Iran must have understood that Trump had no way of controlling Israel's actions in Lebanon, because it dominates both the situation and narrative on the ground and could have inserted caveats allowing it to pursue its operations if its forces were (allegedly) under attack.
