🚨 CYBERINTEL ALERT: TOTAL COMPROMISE OF THE NATIONAL IDENTITY CORE – SAIME, SAREN, AND BORDER ID SYSTEM [STATUS: DATA DISASTER / CRITICAL] 🇻🇪
VECERT Intelligence monitoring systems have detected the largest data exfiltration in Venezuela's recent history. The threat actor group L4TAMFUCKERS, led by GordonFreeman, has announced the breach and massive exfiltration of the databases belonging to SAIME, SAREN, and the Border ID system.
🏢 Affected Entities:
SAIME (Administrative Service for Identification, Migration, and Foreigners).
SAREN (Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries).
Border ID (Border mobility system).
👤 Threat Actors: L4TAMFUCKERS (GordonFreeman, Izanagi, YoSoyGroot).
📂 Data Volume: Terabytes of exfiltrated information.
📅 Report Date: May 8, 2026.
📊 Inventory of Exfiltrated Assets
SAIME (Biographical Database – 35.2 Million Records):
Contains identity metadata for practically the entire population holding a national ID card.
Data: National ID number, full names, gender, date of birth, profession, and system registration date.
SAREN (Birth Certificates – 13.4 Million Documents):
Exfiltration of 6 Terabytes of legal documents in PDF format.
Compromise of the nation's civil core: Records establishing filiation, inheritance, and marital status.
Border ID (92,000 Detailed Records):
Complete database including: Foreign ID numbers, email addresses, passwords, phone numbers, and registration dates. 📊 Technical Analysis of the Attack (TTPs)
The L4TAMFUCKERS group exploited structural flaws within the ministerial interconnection architecture:
API Abuse and Blind Trust: The attackers compromised an entry point and utilized internal authentication keys to query other systems, exploiting the fact that the servers automatically trusted one another without requiring additional verification (API Chaining).
Identifier Manipulation (IDOR / BOLA): By manually altering IDs within network requests, the system delivered citizen records without requiring prior authorization.
Exfiltration via Official Tunnels: They utilized the very same government data channels to extract terabytes of information, thereby ensuring that the outbound traffic appeared legitimate and evaded Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
🛡️ Emergency Recommendations
🔒 For Citizens: It is recommended that you immediately change your personal email passwords and enable MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). Remain extremely vigilant regarding any attempts at telephone or digital extortion that utilize specific details regarding your identity or family members.
🏛️ For Institutions: It is imperative to revoke all current API keys and implement a Zero Trust architecture.

This is an email I sent earlier today to all employees at Coinbase:
Team,
Today I’ve made the difficult decision to reduce the size of Coinbase by ~14%. I want to walk you through why we're doing this now, what it means for those affected, and how this positions us for the future.
Why now
Two forces are converging at the same time. We need to be front footed to respond to both.
First, the market. Coinbase is well-capitalized, has diversified revenue streams, and is well-positioned to weather any storm. Crypto is also on the verge of the next wave of adoption, with stablecoins, prediction markets, tokenization, and more taking off. However, our business is still volatile from quarter to quarter. While we've managed through that cyclicality many times before and come out stronger on the other side, we’re currently in a down market and need to adjust our cost structure now so that we emerge from this period leaner, faster, and more efficient for our next phase of growth.
Second, AI is changing how we work. Over the past year, I’ve watched engineers use AI to ship in days what used to take a team weeks. Non-technical teams are now shipping production code and many of our workflows are being automated. The pace of what's possible with a small, focused team has changed dramatically, and it's accelerating every day.
All of this has led us to an inflection point, not just for Coinbase, but for every company. The biggest risk now is not taking action. We are adjusting early and deliberately to rebuild Coinbase to be lean, fast, and AI-native. We need to return to the speed and focus of our startup founding, with AI at our core.
What this means
To get there, we are not just reducing headcount and cutting costs, we’re fundamentally changing how we operate: rebuilding Coinbase as an intelligence, with humans around the edge aligning it. What does this mean in practice?
- Fewer layers, faster decisions: We are flattening our org structure to 5 layers max below CEO/COO. Layers slow things down and create coordination tax. The future is small, high context teams that can move quickly. Leaders will own much more, with as many as 15+ direct reports. Fewer layers also means a leaner cost structure that is built to perform through all market cycles.
- No pure managers: Every leader at Coinbase must also be a strong and active individual contributor. Managers should be like player-coaches, getting their hands dirty alongside their teams.
- AI-native pods: We’ll be concentrating around AI-native talent who can manage fleets of agents to drive outsized impact. We’ll also be experimenting with reduced pod sizes, including “one person teams” with engineers, designers, and product managers all in one role.
In short: AI is bringing a profound shift in how companies operate, and we’re reshaping Coinbase to lead in this new era. This is a new way of working, and we need to leverage AI across every facet of our jobs.
To those who are affected
I know there are real people behind these decisions — talented colleagues who have poured themselves into this company and our mission. To those of you who will be leaving: thank you. You’ve helped build Coinbase into what it is today, and I am sincerely grateful for everything you've done.
All impacted team members will receive an email to their personal account in the next hour with more information, and an invitation to meet with an HRBP and a senior leader in your organization. Coinbase system access has been removed today. I know this feels sudden and harsh, but it is the only responsible choice given our duty to protect customer information.
To those affected, we will be providing a comprehensive package to support you through this transition. US employees will receive a minimum of 16 weeks base pay (plus 2 weeks per year worked), their next equity vest, and 6 months of COBRA. Employees on a work visa will get extra transition support. Those outside of the US will receive similar support, based on local factors and subject to any consultation requirements.
Coinbase prides itself on talent density. Our employees are among the most talented people in the world, and I have no doubt that your skills and experience will be highly sought after as you pursue your next chapters.
How we move forward
To the team that is staying, I know this is a difficult day. We’re saying goodbye to colleagues and friends you've been in the trenches with. But here’s what I want you to know as we move forward together:
Over the past 13 years, we have weathered four crypto winters, gone public, and built the most trusted platform in our industry. We’ve made it this far by making hard decisions and by always staying focused on our mission. This time will be no different – nothing has changed about the long term outlook of our company or industry. And most importantly, our mission has never been more important for the world. Increasing economic freedom requires a new financial system, and we’re building it.
The Coinbase that emerges from this will be more capable than ever to achieve our mission.

ElevenLabs is expanding in Spain. We're opening a new office in Madrid and hiring into our local sales and engineering teams, so we can work even more closely with Spanish companies.
🚨 BREAKING: Someone at Microsoft just open-sourced a tool that converts almost any file format into clean Markdown.
It's called MarkItDown. And it handles everything.
PDFs. Word docs. PowerPoints. Excel spreadsheets. Images. Audio files. HTML. ZIP archives.
One tool. One output format. Clean Markdown every time.
Here is why this matters right now:
Every AI coding agent, every LLM, every RAG pipeline works better with Markdown than with raw file formats. PDFs confuse them. DOCX files bloat the context. PowerPoints are basically unreadable.
MarkItDown fixes the input layer.
Drop any file in. Get clean, structured Markdown out. Feed it directly to your AI agent.
Full format support:
-> PDF documents
-> Word files (DOCX)
-> PowerPoint presentations (PPTX)
-> Excel spreadsheets (XLSX)
-> Images with EXIF metadata and OCR
-> Audio files with speech transcription
-> HTML pages
-> ZIP archives (processes contents recursively)
Use cases that are immediately obvious:
-> Feed a PDF research paper to Claude or GPT without fighting the format
-> Convert a client PowerPoint into structured notes in seconds
-> Preprocess entire document folders for RAG pipelines
-> Build document ingestion pipelines with zero formatting headaches
Install in one line:
pip install markitdown
That is it. Works as a Python library or a CLI tool.
From Microsoft. Actively maintained. Already one of the most starred Python tools on GitHub.
100% Open Source. MIT License.
🚨 BREAKING: The FBI has successfully extracted deleted Signal messages from a suspect's iPhone via notification storage, the place where all your notifications are stored for up to one month.
Notification storage stores data from all messaging apps, it's a big flaw in iOS. But there's a way to turn it off...

He salido pitando!
A Stanford student got reported for academic misconduct last semester.
His research paper was so good his professor assumed he bought it.
The academic integrity hearing lasted 3 hours.
Here's what happened in that room.
The panel asked him to explain his methodology from scratch. He opened his laptop, pulled up https://t.co/7NsPvmOCXF, and started rebuilding the entire paper live in front of them.
First he fed it his raw notes and asked: "You are a research methodology expert. Here are my raw notes. Identify the 3 strongest arguments buried in this data, rank them by originality, and show me exactly where each one challenges or extends existing literature."
The professors went quiet.
Then he ran: "Now simulate a hostile peer reviewer with a PhD in this field. Generate every serious objection they would raise against my thesis. Then tell me which objections actually have merit and which ones I can dismantle."
One professor leaned forward and asked him to stop so she could write down the prompt.
He kept going. "Take my weakest argument and steelman it harder than I did. Show me what it would look like if it were airtight. Then tell me what I'd need to prove to get it there."
Then the one that ended the hearing. "You are my thesis advisor. I have 24 hours before submission. Read this draft and tell me the single change that would move this from a B+ to an A. Be brutal."
He walked them through how he'd used that last output to rewrite his conclusion three times until it held up under every objection in the room.
What took most PhD candidates 6 months of back-and-forth with advisors, he was doing in real-time inside a single workflow.
The panel didn't just clear him.
They gave him the highest grade in the department's history and asked him to present the workflow to faculty.
The irony is beautiful. The paper looked too good to be human because he'd found a way to think harder than most humans bother to.
That's not cheating. That's the new ceiling.
- 13 cursos oficiales GRATIS (Anthropic Academy)
- Certificación gratis para los primeros 5.000
- Luego: 99$ por intento
Cómo empezar:
1. Únete gratis → https://t.co/fe0i7IJAl8
2. Empieza los cursos → https://t.co/qXJXRnY5zq
3. Regístrate al examen → https://t.co/EvVZJln5Cg
4. Haz el test de práctica
5. Preséntate cuando estés listo
Y ahí está la oportunidad.
Consíguela ahora… antes de que pase a ser el nuevo estándar.
Most researchers still use Google Scholar like it’s 2015.
But something big just changed.
Google quietly released Scholar Labs: an AI interface that answers research questions directly from papers.
Instead of keywords → ask a question.
Instead of paper lists → see how each paper answers it.
Simple workflow:
1️⃣ Ask your research question
2️⃣ Review ranked papers (by relevance, not citations)
3️⃣ Read AI explanations under each paper
4️⃣ Read relevant papers in detail
My first take:
🟢 Useful for quick triage
🟡 Extremely light-weight compared to other AI tools
Try it out, and tell me what you think!

🚨 Someone just open sourced an AI hedge fund with 18 agents that think like Wall Street legends.
Warren Buffett. Charlie Munger. Michael Burry. Cathie Wood. Bill Ackman. All running on your laptop.
It's called AI Hedge Fund. You give it stock tickers. 18 AI agents analyze the company from every angle. Then they vote on whether to buy, sell, or hold.
Not a toy. Not a dashboard. A full multi-agent investment research system.
No Bloomberg Terminal. No $25K brokerage minimums. No financial advisor fees. Just AI agents doing what hedge funds charge 2-and-20 for.
Here's who's on your team:
→ Warren Buffett Agent. Only buys wonderful businesses at fair prices
→ Charlie Munger Agent. Demands a margin of safety on every pick
→ Michael Burry Agent. The Big Short contrarian hunting deep value
→ Cathie Wood Agent. Innovation and disruption. High conviction growth
→ Bill Ackman Agent. Activist investor. Takes bold positions
→ Ben Graham Agent. The godfather of value investing. Hidden gems only
→ Aswath Damodaran Agent. The Dean of Valuation. Story meets numbers
→ Plus 11 more specialized agents covering technicals, sentiment, risk, and fundamentals
Here's how it works:
→ You enter stock tickers (AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, whatever you want)
→ Agents pull real financial data. Earnings, balance sheets, insider trades, news
→ Each agent analyzes the data through their own investment philosophy
→ A Risk Manager agent checks position sizing and portfolio exposure
→ A Portfolio Manager agent takes all signals and makes the final call
→ You get a buy/sell/hold decision with full reasoning from every agent
Here's the wildest part:
You can turn on --show-reasoning and watch each agent explain their logic step by step. Warren Buffett agent breaks down the moat. Michael Burry agent flags the hidden risks. Cathie Wood agent finds the disruption angle. They literally argue with each other.
It has a full backtester. Run your strategy against historical data and see how it would have performed.
Full web UI included. Not just a terminal tool. A real dashboard.
Works with OpenAI, Claude, Groq, DeepSeek, or fully local with Ollama. Your data never has to leave your machine.
Data for AAPL, GOOGL, MSFT, NVDA, and TSLA is completely free. No API key needed.
46.7K GitHub stars. 8.1K forks. Actively maintained.
100% Open Source.
