HISTORIC MILESTONE!

Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi flags off ‘Swarna Sindhu’, the First Crude Oil tanker from the Bay of Bengal Deepwaters, carrying #ONGC crude oil to @Ongc_Mrpl refinery. This ground- breaking project will contribute 7% to India’s oil & gas production, with an envisaged peak gas and oil production of about 10 MMSCMD and 45,000 BOPD respectively.

This wasn’t any ordinary journey!

The KG-DWN 98/2 Deepwater Oil Field M in Krishna Godavari Basin is one of the most technologically complex projects that faced unique technical challenges due to the difficult subsea terrains and non-human conditions at greater depths.

Undeterred, ONGC embarked on a quest for innovation, pioneering the use of Pipe-in-Pipe technology and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to overcome these hurdles. The majority of fabrication works were meticulously crafted at the Modular Fabrication Facility at Kattupalli, a testament to ONGC's commitment to promote #MakeInIndia and contribute towards a self-reliant #energy sector.

This remarkable journey reflects ONGC’s relentless pursuit, commitment and resilience to boosting #India’s security.

Martyrs' Day is a solemn reminder of the day when 22 Energy Soldiers laid down their lives at the BHN Platform, which remains etched in our hearts.
The rain may have poured down, but it couldn't dampen the spirit of the ONGCians who gathered at the Martyr's Memorial in Vasudhara Bhawan. We stood together, united by grief, yet strengthened by the undying valor and dedication that defines us.
The reconstructed platform now stands as a testament to the unwavering courage and commitment of our ONGCians, echoing their legacy that resonates across our organization.
