Actually BCCI’s favourite coach wanted them to fail in Ranji Trophy matches (remote possibility) to oust them from national team based on that hence asking them to play domestic. At this level only a match practice session is good enough for them to continue their form.

@CricCrazyJohns Rohit and Virat are true legends of the game.

While it might be sad that they have to keep proving themselves by playing Vijay Hazare and other domestic tournaments, I believe match practice will only help them.
