Guys don't even trade in Indian stock market fucking market really it's different to control the emotions backtest is different reality is different totally it's waste time and money 🤑
Stop trading this market or reduce half position size #stockmarket#optionselling
1) Weeklies contribute 90% of options turnover and banning them is banning the market itself.
2) India’s F&O volume is 3–4x cash. Kill derivatives liquidity and the shallow cash market collapses under its own weight.
3) Retail may lose ₹30–40k cr annually, but the answer is education, not killing a ₹400L cr/day market.
4) Globally, exchanges add expiries to deepen liquidity; India is the only one talking rollback.
5)Cutting weeklies will widen spreads, hurt hedging, and push FIIs out of India’s capital markets.
6) SEBI’s own data shows retail contributes ~35–40% of options volume but institutions, HFTs, and prop desks rely on that liquidity to hedge.
I have analyzed and backtested 5 years of Nifty monthly options data
formulated a Positional strategy that yields an average return of 2–3% per month.

Should SEBI ban weekly expiries?
There’s been a lot of noise around retail losses.
But is banning weeklies the solution ?
As it shrinks liquidity, hurts FIIs, kills innovation and makes India less competitive globally.
