This little box is quietly changing my life.
It's called a Brick and it blocks social media.
In the morning, I tap my phone with this device to avoid distractions, and it's made a world of difference.
I've got no affiliation to them. Just a great product I use daily.
I found this treasure "The 100 Greatest Stock Market Winners of the Past 15 Years~1977~ William O'neil " from @cincylibrary Here is the digitized pdf https://t.co/5rLx0ir7xc @mwebster1971@IBDinvestors
Till date, I’ve received 3 acquisition offers for https://t.co/hJPBhtaugS, and their only motive behind all of them was to monetize it. I know the potential this product has, and I swear I’m never going to charge people just to use it. PRIVACY SHOULD BE FREE, NOT A LUXURY.

There are a lot of haters of @elonmusk, but we believe that, due to Elon's first-principles engineering, SpaceX has likely found a handful of sites to deploy the remaining GW, and the 10GW 2027 target is within reach.
Elon is singular in his ability to do what haters & doubters think is impossible. (1/2)🧵

Speaking of hoarding wealth, Khanna’s two young children are the proud owners of THREE private golf courses in Ohio, where member initiation fees run upwards of $45k
Khanna’s children — still in elementary school — earned up to $2 million from their golf courses in 2024.
Today, instead of using Congress' easy electronic filing system, @RoKhanna once again chose to hand-deliver his financial disclosures on 353 pages of paper that he knows will not be indexed or searchable.
Luckily, the OCR pipelines I built for https://t.co/u2plKpJV4h are chewing on it now.
Politicians are now suggesting the government should provide margin loans to people, so those people can pay more money in taxes.
Genius!
Where can I sign up for one of these non-recourse loans against my new trillion dollar company I just started?!
Dear Ro,
You're actively selling a wealth confiscation strategy, so it's time to address a few realities:
1. Criticizing entrepreneurs by saying "people don't look up to them the way they used to" is in extremely poor taste. Especially after @MichaelDell@altcap@RayDalio among others have donated billions to seed Trump Accounts.
2. Your pitch relies on demonizing billionaires for "not paying their fair share." The ultra-wealthy are on the contrary very generous - they're just very intentional. If they wanted to hand over control of their capital, they'd already be rushing in on your proposal. Tax + charitable giving is a very big number. The difference is simple: one of those you don't get to control (fortunately).
3. Jeff Bezos said it best: "If I do my job right, then value to society and civilization from my for-profit companies will be much, much larger than the good that I do with my chartiable giving" (or taxes paid for that matter). Hard to argue that.
4. Before demanding more revenue, sell solutions to the massive waste, fraud, and abuse that has been publicly exposed in recent years.
Here's the deal: you and your friends have mismanaged capital so badly that you're now shopping for a bailout. You're not even tying this confiscation to a very well thought out and specific plan, which tells me one thing: Deficits and waste would only grow.
I invite you to respond directly to each of these points.
@RoKhanna
Sincerely,
An ultra financially literate CPA who loves America 🇺🇸

Ro, that’s insane.
You want the state to loan money to the founder, who will then immediately give it back to the state as a wealth tax ?
Meaning the state has not received any incremental receipts? What’s the point of that ?
Unless of course you want the gov to own shares (something I thought you criticized) and possibly have control, of companies who underperformed, (or the funding market changed), and couldn’t pay back their loans over those 10 years ?
And I’m sure the investors in those companies will be thrilled about their new partners. That will make for interesting board meetings. “Today’s first topic is trying to figure out how to motivate the founder(s). They just lost $250m of their shares in the company they founded, to the state of California. Anyone got any ideas ? “
But at least it’s amazing for state’s brand.
“Cali, You make it. We take it !”
Come on Ro.
Ideology is not a strategy.
@GavinNewsom
Ro, “in your scenario, the founder could sell to pay a one time 5 percent tax or the state could sell it if he defaults on the loan”
Ro, this is the biggest fuck you in the history of entrepreneurship. Ever.
Creating jobs but don’t have cash. Fuck you
Can’t sell shares, we will sell it for you, to whoever. Fuck you.
Creating jobs. Paying great wages instead of taking cash out yourself. Fuck you
Reinvesting into your company and community. Fuck You.
Don’t you know that Jensen, and Lisa Su, and people who have vast amounts of liquidity already have no problem with it. Fuck You
There is a huge difference between someone with liquidity , running a huge public company, and someone who has dedicated every minute of who knows how many years, to building a company, to finally have a dream financing come true , only to be insulted by a politician. “We will sell your shares for you “

Gavin Baker: "which AI company actually survives? Google - already multi-trillion
Microsoft, OpenAI, Meta chose open source - the only ones left is xAI and Anthropic - xAI + X will be worth over a trillion"
this is him explaining what he actually invests in - and why Taiwan sells sand to Nvidia for $700 that Nvidia sells for $50,000
His words:
what to invest in: "we're investing in things that increase the GPU utilization rate - because if you take a GPU from 30% utilized to 60%, you've doubled the output of that AI factory"
what not to Invest in: "the models will basically go to zero - the data center is a commodity - energy might be short for a while but is also a commodity - the only thing in the whole stack with real value is the data moat and reinforcement learning"
"the GPU has gotten 50 times faster in the last four years - that's a big part of why we're living through this AI revolution"
