🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a 22-year-old who runs into BURNING BUILDINGS as a volunteer firefighter was told he isn't qualified to be a paid firefighter...

...because he was HOMESCHOOLED.

Then the city changed the job posting to cover it up.

His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska.

Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT.

He is doing the job. For free.

All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love."

So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department.

And in April, the city rejected him. Why?

Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled.

That's it. That's the whole disqualification.

Not his EMT license.
Not his fitness.
Not his record.
Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!!

...how he was educated.

The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school."

That's all it said.
He graduated high school.
He has a diploma.

And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description.

His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him:

"I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him."

Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid.

And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy.

Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors.

And this young man is the proof.

At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch.

When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school.

You will not ask if his diploma was accredited.

You will thank GOD he came.

Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words:

"I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity."

That's a better man than the policy that rejected him.

Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it.

Fix this.

Florida deputies race into a burning home and rescue seven dogs, including five puppies in in Parkland, Florida.

Deputies dismantled a pen holding the puppies before placing them in a laundry basket and carrying them to safety as firefighters battled the blaze.

The Broward Sheriff's Office says the pups and their parents were all rescued, and the deputies involved were later recognized for their actions.

They brought her back to the shelter after only thirteen minutes of happiness. For entire days, she sat in silence at the back of her cage, her gaze lost in space, wondering what she had done wrong. The narrator, having worked in this animal shelter for eight years, had seen it all, but nothing remained more heartbreaking than the return of an animal everyone thought was finally saved. That day, it was Maya's turn.
Maya had been abandoned by her former owners. She was a beautiful, medium sized, golden Labrador cross, easily recognizable by her soft, slightly asymmetrical ears. In the beginning, she would sit right against the gate, desperately waiting for them to come back for her. Then, as the months passed, the hope in her honey colored eyes slowly extinguished. She laid down at the back of her kennel, completely resigned to her fate.
One morning, after three hundred and sixty five days of waiting, a young couple arrived. They were looking for a calm companion for their apartment. The worker explained Maya's past, specifying that she would need patience, and they assured they understood. When Maya got into their car at 10:15 AM, a fragile glimmer reappeared in her eyes. The worker's heart filled with immense relief.
At 10:27 AM, the phone rang. The young woman's voice was tense: "She is too lively. She is running everywhere, sniffing everything, and she jumped on our sofa. We are not ready." By 10:40 AM, their car was parking in front of the shelter once again. Maya's new life had lasted precisely thirteen minutes.
When the car door opened, the dog stepped out without any resistance. The adopters left quickly, avoiding her eyes. Maya turned toward the shelter worker, her tail wagging hesitantly, carrying that silent, devastating question in her eyes: "What did I do wrong?"

Oil was up to around $120 a barrel when gas was was $5.00 during the Biden Regime.

Now it's around $100 a barrel and gas in many areas is already way above $5.00. I paid $4.64 this morning and it keeps going up.

This is beautiful , 3 year old, GSD named Millie, #A5171470 , who was surrendered to the “shelter” due to her owner moving to a new home that wouldn’t allow her 💔

Her previous owner said she was very loving with the family , and regular visitors that came over . She was good with a little Pug they had . She needs slow introductions, and is leery with strangers .

She is located at , MCACC East Shelter , in Mesa , Arizona .

Please go and Adopt or offer to foster her so that a rescue can pull her . Fostering is Free through a Rescue .

This awful “shelter” has her housed where the public can’t even see her!!🤬
