ايران تشرب من ذات الكأس الذي سقت منه العراق قبيل غزو 2003. فقد قدمت السلاح لمقاتلي الكرد في السليمانية، وسمحت لقوات المعارضةالعراقية بدخول العراق أثناء الغزو . واليوم تعود لتهدد إقليم كردستان الذي كانت تدعمه، محذّرة إياه من مغبة السماح لكرد إيران بالتسلل إلى الداخل.

Oman, March 5, 2026 - The U.S. government cares about your safety and will continue to share up-to-the-minute information you need to make informed decisions about your safety.  The U.S. government is ready to help Americans leave the Middle East if you choose to take advantage of the options available.

If You Plan to Leave Oman: The Department has opened a crisis intake form for U.S. citizens in Oman to pass information about consular assistance. At this time, we encourage Americans to consider departing the Oman if they believe they can do so safely, and we note that some flights are now departing international airports in Oman. Please find the crisis intake form at https://t.co/nFNLS9rEwr .

U.S. citizens in Oman can also call the U.S. Department of State at [phone] to receive departure information and assistance.

Options to Depart

On March 3, 2026, the Department of State authorized non-emergency U.S. government employees and U.S. government employee family members to leave Oman due unavailability of commercial flights and because U.S. government employees are not permitted to utilize land border crossings departing Oman at this time. If safe to do so, Americans should leave Oman now. If you are located within Duqm and its environs or within a 100 km radius of Salah and it is unsafe to leave, you should continue to shelter in place.

Embassy Operations

Describe any changes to Embassy operations, specifically ACS services.

The U.S. Embassy Muscat continues to provide routine and emergency services to American citizens. Americans should contact [email protected] in case of emergency.

Actions to Take
- Maintain communication with family and friends to inform them of your status.
- Have travel documents up to date and easily accessible.
- Find a secure location within your residence or another safe building.  Have a supply of food, water, medications, and other essential items.
- In case of an attack, stay away from any debris, and monitor news outlets for official guidance.
- Avoid protests and demonstrations, keep a low profile, and stay aware of your surroundings.
- Pay close attention to communications from local officials.
- Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive safety and security updates from the U.S. Embassy.
- Keep your cell phone charged and pre-programmed with the following emergency numbers.

ابتلينا ببعض الصحفيين ممن يسافر إلى طهران لعام أو أقل، يتعلم شيئًا من اللغة الفارسية، ثم يُستقطَب من قبل الحرس الثوري أو الاستخبارات (الاطلاعات)، ليظهر بعدها على القنوات العربية وكأنه من صناع القرار في طهران، وكأن خامنئي قد سلمه راية ولاية الفقيه! خلل عميق في العقيدة والانتماء للعروبة.
