2/2 With ~7.1M eligible Canadians not yet fully vaccinated & 4.8M too young to get #COVID19vaccines, there are still too many susceptible people and too many opportunities for the virus to spread. We need to close the protection gap now!

@SNMichaud People argue that it’s bc the men’s tourney brings in more money... well, if you can’t make a swag bag or weight room legit, then I’m guessing there probably isn’t equitable (or even equal) effort going into marketing, sponsorship, or growth.
@4katdunne@danhenry3@ChantelJennings@NCAA @ncaawbb @marchmadness If you can’t put any effort into a swag bag or weight room, seemingly simple things, then what makes anyone think the NCAA is putting any effort into marketing or growing the women’s tournament... you know, to make more money. #itdoesntaddup#bubblegate
5/9 Wearing a NON-MEDICAL mask in public settings has not been proven to add any protection TO the person wearing it, but it can be an additional way to prevent spread FROM an infected person to others. #ProtectDontInfect#COVID19#LayerUpCOVID
4/9 ! MEDICAL masks MUST be conserved for healthcare workers & others in direct care of #COVID19 patients. Masks for public use mean only NON-MEDICAL masks & facial coverings (homemade cloth mask, bandana, common dust mask) #LayerUpCOVID
1/6 We now have a snapshot of the severity of #COVID19 in 🇨🇦, where 6.1% of all cases require hospitalization, 2.6% of all cases are critically ill needing ICU care and 1% of cases have been fatal. #ProtectTheVulnerable#FlattentheCurve#PlanktheCurve
I won’t be on your @Sportsnet screens for a month or so, and this is why. Please take care of yourselves and support life-saving places like @WCHospital & @UHN ❤️
