P6A had a busy afternoon yesterday measuring a scale model of our solar system. We measured our solar system on paper, then used a larger scale outside. It was great to hear the mathematical language being used! @Clerkhillschool Thanks @Mrs_C_Stephens for the idea!!

Today marks the end of my placement at @Clerkhillschool. I have learned so much over the past few weeks, especially regarding play pedagogy. Being able to observe the pupils and the skills they are developing during play has been really insightful! @NicolaBuchan2 #blocksrock

Today some of the pupils worked together to build a boat🚢. It has been great to observe how providing an enabling environment allows the pupils engage in play and the skills that are developed during this time!! #learningthroughplay @NicolaBuchan2
