Google Docs does not understand that I am writing a novel in present tense.
"Say" = did you mean "said"?
"Run" = did you mean "ran"?

The deadline pushed me to write faster and harder than ever before. I spent 50 hours this month on writing, which is a new personal best. This book is re-igniting my excitement for writing, and I pray that one of the mentors is just as excited about it as I am!

Since completing the first draft in August, I have been revising my YA space novel for #PitchWars. 2 weeks ago, I realized I needed to change my ending, which required significant alterations to the rest of the book. I rewrote 35,000 words—half of my novel—in those 2 weeks.

I am a #CampNaNoWinner2020! This is the fifth time I have completed the 50K in 30 days challenge, and it feels incredible. My YA sci-fi, THE INQUISITOR, is almost complete at 74,000 words, and I'm already looking forward to revising.

I did something today that I never thought I could do: I completed the #10kwritingchallenge! I feel INCREDIBLE after months of slow writing progress. It took me just over five hours to write 10,000 words today, and I am on fire. This puts my YA space WIP at 38K.

Looks like I’ll need to put some more twists in my book if I want to keep working with this idea! In other news, I LOVED Chaotic Good and I blazed through it in two days. Thanks for writing a wonderful, heartfelt story that a girl geek like me can totally relate to.
