Blush pink petals against a bright blue sky, or even on a grey day, are a sight to behold. We're waiting in anticipation for blossom trees to burst into flower.

The wildlife camera at @NTDyffrynG has been picking up some great footage over the winter months.

Dyffryn is visited by herons frequently, but this curious visitor is definitely mastering their walk and pose for the camera.

Work undertaken before the pandemic for St Fagans with my mentor Pete David. Such an interesting few weeks back before Covid, can’t wait to see the finished Vulcan 😊

After a very thorough clean, their work involved filling cracks and chips with a colour-matched resin. These were restored not just to museum standard, but to a standard that would enable them to be used once again for their intended purpose.

Having announced that work had begun on rebuilding of the iconic Vulcan Hotel, one question we received was ‘Will it still smell of Domestos?’ It won’t, but it will have its original urinals.

Building work has begun on the Vulcan Hotel at St Fagans.

When it reopens, The Vulcan will be displayed as it was in 1915, an important year for the pub.
