Transformation comes from many sources. Let's not overlook the opportunities that come from within. Join our research team to help explore how brains, beliefs and emotions influence water and environmental decisions. 3/3
In the light of what’s happened in Israel and Gaza, a song about non-violence seems somewhat ridiculous, even laughable, but our prayers have always been for peace and for non-violence…
But our hearts and our anger, you know where that’s pointed. So sing with us… and those beautiful kids at that music festival…

U.S. weather man threatened with death for mentioning #ClimateCrisis. Chris Gloninger learned that speaking frankly about climate change doesn't fly in the American heartland, by @olliemilman https://t.co/3kAE9Iitnm via @guardian#journalism#infodemic
The most important question is whether @globeandmail will let me harvest these comments for my next research project on #Ignorance, #Denial, and #Fear in social media's climate responses. #TMTClimateModel
I made coffee before reading the comments... I'm a female student misguided by a senior male professor, an eco-marxist, wasting tax payers' $ for research, climate change isn't happening, it's not that bad, there's no future in enviro jobs etc etc. Nothing like #Trolls Sunday AM!
Professors: explicitly recognize the #Emotions that come with climate-related discussions. Anxiety, guilt, shame, fear, but also optimism, determination, and awe. Find ways to create and reinforce students' enviro identities and agency. Theories are great, practice is better.
☀️Victoria's the driest city in Canada in summer but the lack of rain this year is truly staggering.
We've had < 30 mm in the last 79 days, around the same amount of rain we had in the first 7 days of July 2022. More @CHEK_News 5 & 6 pm
