This is the guy they hate. This is the guy they are writing the worst things possible about. Just because he is the best. Just because he wins. All while he tries to share positivity wherever he goes and show people why he loves this sport. He celebrates with the fans. He jokes with his rivals. He signs autographs, takes photos, smiles, and never forgets to thank his team and the people who make cycling what it is. And races with pure passion, attacks when others would wait, when others would in this phase of the race and with this big gap on second just sit on the wheel to defend safely yellow like we saw decade ago. You don’t have to support him. You don’t have to cheer for him. Everyone is free to have their favourite rider. But there is a difference between supporting someone else and spreading endless hate, insults, and accusations without evidence simply because one rider is better than the rest. I know these days it is trendy to write different things about Pogi, but this blog will always be different. I want this place to be a safe place and a place that brings you joy of cycling instead of bad feelings. So let’s enjoy cycling ❤️ Thank you for photo to Clément Parnot. #TDF2026

子どもに対して恐怖を抱かせたこと、家族の誰もが助けにならなかったこと。しかも子どもが自分のせいにして親を庇って収束を図ったこと。全てに対して自分に責任があるという姿勢を示してこそ男性として父として監督としての価値を上げることになっただろうに。残念だ。まあファンは人間としての姿勢を見ているわけではないからどちらでもいいのかもしれないが。

今回の報道でメディアの姿勢の差がよくわかる。家族の暴力は家族を壊さないように被害者が責任を感じるのが通例だ。いかなる暴力も許さない（家族も例外ではない）という姿勢が加害者逮捕につながる。児相も警察も当たり前のことをしたまでだ。にもかかわらず娘に責任を負わせる（手紙を読み上げる）なんて、それを許容した父（逮捕された本人）も含めて全てが許されない。家族の美風に見せかけた加害者擁護だ。生成AI利用へと論点ずらしも行われたし。
