Not conquest for its own sake.
A civilization that understood power over possession.

Before that strike, there was a staging ground.
Islands most people forget still belong to India.

Named Ma-Nakkavaram in an inscription from 1050.
A forward base of the Chola Empire.

In 2024, Port Blair was renamed.
