Gandhi ji said popularity comes without invitation and goes without farewell. When I became suddenly popular after Rajiv Gandhi arrested me on 13 march 1987 for my campaign against the Ambani’s and I was reeling under sudden fame Goenka quoted this to me. This guided my whole life. Sudden and unearned popularity is death-knell for the already arrogant.

Dilip Gavit and his coach won gold medals at the Commonwealth Games. They went to meet Raj Thackeray. He made them wait for 2 hours and then told them he is busy and wouldn’t meet today. They both left his residence in anger.

Same Raj Thackeray had time to felicitate a girl who stopped a policevan. Rahul Gandhi, Dimple Yadav and everyone is making that girl a national hero just because she spoke against BJP while ignoring all the real talents of this country.

I am glad Modi is in power. At least he recognizes real talents and promotes them 🙏
