My toddler is my main reminder and teacher of invariable love. She also yells at me an asks me to hold her boogers. Yet I would like to extend this love to all my friends and loved ones😆 It’s the only love worth a damn.

Trying to produce breast milk for a second child while keeping up with the first & all of life’s responsibilities is constant Sleep deprivation until ur body starts to shut down and get sick then try and catch a 2 hour nap once a week so you can do it all again next week.

It’s weird to me when people ask “Have you thought about xyz?” Instead of “What do you think about xyz?” When it comes to parenting. I haven’t met any parents who haven’t thought about the millions of decisions & the millions of alternatives that come into play when raising kids

Don’t ask my spouse how many texts I sent about my tots first preschool drop off I wasn’t able to be at. Lol. He’s probably bitter about the amount of reading I made him do at 8am

Those who publish bedtime books for tots need to rethink illustrations. I told my toddler last night it was time to start getting read for bed at 7:45 (bc its about an hour long process😆) and she pointed to the window and said “Blue Sky Mom! Blue sky!”

Exclusively pumping at this point. Busy schedules never gave breastfeeding much of a chance once summer started. While saving money not buying formula and such is worth it pumping is BLAH.

My toddler has been having fun during her tiny tot sleepover air bnb Alabama summer time rager. Lol. Make friends with parents who have babies 0-18 months. It has the cutest payoff when your kids become buddies 18 months plus.

Alabama makes me do things. Like sit in bed at 7:30pm eating cheese sticks and drinking Franzia box wine. To be fair I’ve been up since 5:30am.

Been in the country for less than 24 hours and I’m feeling the hobby farm vibe pretty intensely. One cow, a shoe stealing dog, a small spring to swim in, starry starry sky and lots of fireflies.

As I get older and my expectations become more reasonable I’m extra glad to have sisters (always have been hinge the word extra😆). Sometimes all you need to survive a decade of life is someone to send you funny memes and laugh at ur funny memes.
