Although these changes may seem small over the past year’s stadiums have been toward trying to be more #EnvironmentFriendly @KIN110UofR https://t.co/6vH2ltQQGg
Please RT @KIN110UofR As talked about last week about old facilities not being used after Olympics or other events, how can we find ways to reuse these stadiums? https://t.co/k1Secd0x8m
Sarah Fuller was the first female to play in the power five last week during the thanksgiving weekend #diversityinsport @KIN110UofR https://t.co/HV0zU16ISr
@KIN110UofR This articles talks about the mental illness former hockey enforcers have from #concussions during there hockey career. #Mentalhealth ‘I want my brain fixed’: Former NHL enforcer Nick Boynton talks depression, addiction https://t.co/SbFSTYzy3b
@jola94050499 @KIN110UofR I agree if you normalize mental illness and try to create a more accepting environment around it rather than the negative stigma around it I believe more people would be open to share their experience
Eagles & Packers Fans Brawl During Thursday Night Football https://t.co/LmUoKBhSvd via @YouTube this is a clip from last seasons game an example of #spectatorviolence
@Blavallee91 @KIN110UofR The punishment I believe was fair. As an athlete you are in the spotlight and you have to be aware of what you are doing. The bully went on for years so it was not a matter of mistake at all the proper action was taken by Arizona because it also reflects on them if they kept him.
@Blavallee91 @KIN110UofR I see both sides here, since he did test positive it puts others at risk and looks bad on the organization and league but on the other side they just won the World Series which is a great achievement and he was really excited he probably did not think of the consequences
@KIN110UofR#overconformity I have known many wrestlers that have to cut weight before a meet. In one example a member of the team could not eat breakfast and had to run laps with someone on their back to cut weight
@KIN110UofR please retweet.
Lance Armstrong is an example of deviance behaviour in sport for his use of performance enhancing drugs. Although Lance did give most of his winnings to charity, does this make it any better?
@raya_erickson@KIN110UofR I think first offence would be a suspension and public apology to the person or people it was directed at and after that a serve suspension and possible being banned from the league.
@KIN110UofR I also agree there is a lot of #racistsportfans based on that they do not get in as much trouble and get as much punishment as those who are athletes that use racist slurs. Those who are spectators and use racist slurs get be removed and banned from the facility.
@Blavallee91 @KIN110UofR For me this does not make much sense given that in non body contact there still is some rubbing anyways. Is there much of a point taking it out if there still going to be in each others space?
@mattTur66203565 @KIN110UofR Do you think NFL players would be willing to do a bubble format for regular season and play offs? Is this to much to ask from them?
@mattTur66203565 @KIN110UofR With the success that the NHL and NBA has with the bubble I do believe the best option would be the bubble format. But another thing to consider is that those leagues were both in playoffs at the time and already had a hard time with the amount of time they spent in the bubble
@jola94050499 @KIN110UofR I do believe that the salary gap should not be this big. Although there is a big difference in revenue coming in between the two different leagues and before the salary gap becomes even the WNBA will have to bring in more revenue.
@chutskoff30@KIN110UofR If body checking was implemented into women’s hockey I do believe it would bring a higher number of viewers. Although I still don’t believe it would bring equal pay since their is such a big gap between salary of men’s and women’s hockey.
@KIN110UofR Elias Pettersson that likes to show his fashion in the NHL he was especially excited for the no dress code in the bubble and was able to show his fashion a bit
