@Statford_Bridge My guess is they are looking to instill culture. With takeover Chelsea lost its identity. They tried by getting quality players but then soon realized that wont work. Now they are trying a different way. Now if these are the right players time will tell.
@CFCCentral3 More a reflection on the SDs. I am sure they are livid with this outcome. I have a feeling if Xabi is successful then some heads will roll!
@matissearmani@David_Ornstein@TheAthleticFC Haha. But I want this to happen. He is so anti Arteta player. He would want to play all the time, all about himself, the moment he gets dropped he will sulk and finally he wont track back. Sure there are upsides but there are many downsides too.
@matissearmani Haha. I had seen him in person chelsea vs manutd at the bridge. And on that day I gave up on him. I even had a bet with my brother that he needs time and we should be patient. I lost my faith on that day!
@CFCCentral3 I just felt he wasn't skillful enough to have an impact in a possession based set-up : Not enough pace nor trickery. Might do well for teams such as Aston Villa who tend to play more open / counter attacking football.
@Statford_Bridge Harsh and seems petty too. I am pretty sure they are supporting Behdad in the negotiations. If not anything this will accelerate the process. Shouldn't be a ding on SDs. If Lacroix turns out to be a dude then it is on them. Not for this.
@pattyalttman It can't be book loss as he would have depreciated or amortized across the length of his contract - which is 3 years - so his book value is 12 mn..
@SaeedTV_@matissearmani your business is our business :D . You couldnt afford Fernandes, how could you possibly think of Tchoumeni? Did you see his wages? You can at most afford their canteen guy!
