@BoomRadioUK Gutted to read that Boom Rock is about to finish😞. I've listened every day since not long after it started and will miss it. Hopefully some of its content can be incorporated into the main station in future. Just hearing Tommy Vance's "voice" brings back memories

@UKPowerNetworks There's no need to leave it until the 22nd. The hole could have been filled when they'd repaired the fault, and the barriers removed. This is an area of single track roads with little room for manoeuvre. At least pass the message on to those responsible for this incompetence

Larger planes coming on stream will mean not as many flights as might have been needed. Plus new jobs and billions added to the economy aren't a bad thing.

@Cllrharrietbrad Increased passenger numbers was approved some years ago, based on the fact that quieter, more energy efficient, and higher passenger capacity planes are gradually coming into service. The expansion is for the actual building, to assist movements through security and to the planes
