@nvanrcmp@icbc@NorthVanCityLib@RoadSafetyLou Honestly shocked you aren’t doing a pedestrian safety blitz at the Bewicke/Keith/3rd light. Not for the drivers daily blocking the crosswalk, but for the school kids having to walk out into traffic due to said ignorant drivers blocking the crosswalk. 🙃
@nvanrcmp Please Marine/3rd Street and West Keith at the Chevron. Daily blocking of the crosswalk, forcing the school kids into traffic. Not to mention left turning from Bewicke blowing through the walk signal!
@fraser99422945@nvanrcmp ^^ ‘unapologetic American’ ^^ that doesn’t live in the District of North Van. Your profile screams your option is not relevant.
@Occulta_Veritas@nvanrcmp Ah yah the old autobahn argument. They are electronically speed regulated to conditions (not always unlimited), don’t have pooling water, drivers are aware and far better trained. There actually are spectacular crashes, often fatal FYI…..
@irishpeloton Flowbikes in Canada for all the major races and CX. It gets the job done which is all we can ask for these days I guess. Unsure if they broadcast the track league though….
@DeputyChow Meanwhile Friday night at 9:50 a truck with a rubber dingy turned into the bike lane in front of Cactus Club and sped down Beach bike lane. Missed a few on lime bikes. Notified the VPD who were standing there to clear the beach. ‘Thanks’ is the response I got. That’s it.👏
@lucasaganronald So the the Brit was lazily going up track across the pursuit line and the Dutch guy dodged around…and it’s HIS fault? LOL ok Twitter experts!
@wrychrd@martynschmoll@TranBC I recall they favoured these for aesthetic reasons for Stanley park. I honestly don’t think the general public would be opposed to something more solid.
@martynschmoll@TranBC And to add…the damaged northbound portion 1/4 way into the causeway has been damaged since a multi car head on collision in November (or December ) 2022. @TranBC
