Stating Facts is not "bitching" and "moaning", it's calling things as they are and creating a system of accountability. @CoachGundy has fought and scratched for the great salary he makes, and that's great, he's earned it. But, also, with that comes expectations, both short and long-term.

Today's comments were very disappointing and they in NO WAY showed good leadership, especially as an example of how to handle adversity. It actually, IMO, showed a tremendous amount of weakness on his part in not being able to show more discipline in choosing both the proper tone and words.

And, ironically, being weak is what he was accusing the great fans of OSU of being.

Let me explain to you something Coach... I've sat through watching a ball ricochet off of Chris Rockins helmet, I sat through the Ice Bowl, was in person to watch the dropped pass in 1988, the tie in 1992, the 0-10-1 season, and all of the other very tough moments as a fan, and, in the face of it ALL, I DO NOT miss home games. Not any of them!

So, Coach, do you not realize how TOUGH you actually have to be to be an OSU fan? Do you not realize how much heartache we have endured to stay Loyal and True? If you do realize that, then surely you have to understand that we thought we were out of those woods...forever.

And we thought it was you who led us out of those woods.

Now, even the most Loyal and True have to be having their doubts, especially, and maybe because of today.

Further, you also have to understand that your lack of urgency, which once again you showed today, is not inspiring confidence in anyone, even those of us who have been Loyal and True.

Another ironic aspect of your words today, is that you were doing precisely what you were tearing the great fans of OSU down for, and that is "bitching and moaning". My suggestion is, guide that "bitching and moaning" in the correct direction, and it might ALL go away.
