Poverty has reached every household in India.
But till date, the Indian government’s schemes have not reached the homes of the poor.

Look at Mr. Modi’s dream India.
Look at the reality of poverty in a 5 trillion economy India.

The lives of 80 crore people are running on 5 kg of ration.

Mr. Modi says that we have become a developed India.
Look at this child in the developed India where people eat pizza, burgers, momos, macaroni, mushrooms, makhana, and drink Bournvita and Horlicks.

An innocent poor child is filling his stomach by eating salt, water, roti, and raw tomatoes.

India’s Prime Minister himself eats moringa paratha, mushrooms, and makhana.

A couple in Chennai booked a flat in 2019.

Paid ₹46 lakh.

The builder promised possession in 2022.

2022 came. No flat.
2023. No flat.
2024. No flat.

They kept paying EMIs on a home loan.
And rent the house they were living in.
For 6 years they paid double.

In 2025 they approached RERA.
The builder kept asking for extensions.
They moved to the consumer court.

2025 ruling:
The builder was ordered to refund ₹46 lakh.

Plus 19% interest from 2019.
That’s ₹46 lakh becoming ₹1.06 crore.
The builder was delayed by 6 years.
The court added ₹60 lakh in interest.

If your builder has delayed possession – you have two options: RERA or consumer court.

Both can order interest on your money.

Most homebuyers don’t know they can get interest.

I travelled through Great Nicobar today.

These are the most extraordinary forests I have ever seen in my life. Trees older than memory. Forests that took generations to grow.

The people on this island are equally beautiful - both the adivasi communities and the settlers - but they are being robbed of what is rightfully theirs.

The government calls what it is doing here a “Project.” What I have seen is not a project. It is millions of trees marked for the axe. It is 160 square kilometres of rainforest condemned to die. It is communities that have been ignored while their homes have been snatched away.

This is not development. This is destruction dressed in development’s language.

So I will say it plainly, and I will keep saying it: what is being done in Great Nicobar is one of the biggest scams and gravest crimes against this country’s natural and tribal heritage in our lifetime.

It must be stopped. And it can be stopped - if Indians choose to see what I have seen.
