One Family Under Khilafat

“Mr Radu Duta, a lawyer and barrister from Luxembourg, attended the Jalsa for the first time with his son. He said:

‘The three days of the Jalsa became some of the most important days of my life. For the first time, I witnessed such a large, organised and dignified Islamic gathering.

I felt as though the people who had come from different countries were members of one family. Every volunteer was engaged in serving the guests with a smile. Every worker on duty treated each guest with such love, respect and attention, as though that individual was the most important and honoured person there.

The sight of the International Bai’at was also deeply moving and unforgettable for me. Seeing thousands of people from different countries pledge allegiance at the hand of a single Imam and pray before Allah the Almighty with the utmost humility was a faith-inspiring and spiritual experience that left a profound impression upon my heart.’”
