Security of doctors is a national issue, not a regional one. To suggest otherwise ignores the reality that violence against doctors isn’t confined to one state.

Holding a region responsible or ‘ransom’ is a dangerous oversimplification of a much larger problem.

As per this circular , AIIMS delhi doctors or any other aiims staff are not allowed to do any protest because of “right to life article”

The Foreign Medical Graduates have communicated with the National Medical Commission (@NMC_IND) regarding the 3-year internship rules. Engaged in a discussion with Dr. Aruna Vanikar and also submitted a letter from association.
However, the crux of the matter remains that Dr. Vanikar has declined to reconsider the 3-year rule and has suggested seeking legal recourse. Why does the National Medical Commission @NMC_IND want FMGs to endure an extended degree period of 10-12 years and make FMGs suffer?

Imagine the situation for medical professionals in #PUNJAB. FMGs who passed the FMGE in February 2024 are waiting to start their internships, and the PMC is only offering three seats after six months of struggle.
Guess what? There's a fresh batch of FMGs who aced their exams in July. But here's the kicker: they're getting hassled left and right, and it's not just an FMG thing in India.
Choosing a career in medicine nowadays feels like entering a battlefield. Doctors are being treated like this, interns and PGs are putting in laborious hours. And don't even get me started on leaked papers!
I kindly request @NMC_IND and @AAPPunjab @dryogendermalik sir to streamline the process.
