🚨BANGLADESH IN DEEP SHOCK: India's New Military Base in Mizoram is Just 50 KM from Chittagong.

According to reports, the Indian Army is evaluating two potential locations, Parva and Silsuri, both situated near the Indo-Bangladesh border. These sites are strategically important as they are located approximately 50–60 kilometres from Chattogram (Chittagong), Bangladesh's major port city. Their proximity also places them near the country's narrow southern corridor, making the proposed base a significant strategic asset.

The move is part of India's broader effort to strengthen military infrastructure across the Northeast. In recent months, the Army has already announced new garrisons near the Siliguri Corridor, commonly referred to as the "Chicken's Neck," a strategically vital stretch connecting mainland India with the northeastern states. The proposed base in Mizoram further expands India's defensive network along the eastern frontier.

In parallel, the government is reportedly upgrading around 85 Border Outposts (BOPs) in the Northeast into fully operational, future-ready security hubs. These upgrades are aimed at strengthening border management, improving infrastructure, and enhancing preparedness across vulnerable sectors.

Meanwhile, authorities have intensified action against illegal immigration within the country. In Haryana's Rewari district, police identified 73 suspected illegal Bangladeshi nationals. FIRs have reportedly been registered against 44 individuals, while authorities have initiated legal procedures for deportation through West Bengal under the supervision of the Border Security Force (BSF).

Taken together, these developments indicate a coordinated approach to strengthening national security—through enhanced military preparedness along India's eastern borders and stricter enforcement against illegal immigration within the country.
