The Election Commission’s so-called "rebuttal" to LoP Rahul Gandhi Ji's Match-fixing Maharashtra article is nothing more than a defensive monologue that dodges every inconvenient truth.

Some serious uncomfortable facts that the ECI keeps choking on:

1) What explains the sudden spike of 41 lakh new voters in just five months when it took five years to add 31 lakh? What kind of data machinery pulls off that miracle, Excel or electoral engineering?

2) How does the turnout shoot up by nearly 8 percentage points after voting hours ended? What was happening at the booths after 5 PM that added nearly 76 lakh extra votes overnight?

3) Where is the video evidence of polling post 5 PM? Isn't that footage mandatory? Or was the CCTV there just for decoration?

4) Why are the final electoral rolls, in a digital, open, and machine-readable format, still being kept out of public reach? What is the ECI trying to shield—voter data or vote manipulation?

5) And why did 12,000 booths across 85 seats magically register turnout spikes, conveniently in places where the BJP had flopped during the Lok Sabha polls but managed to "win" in the Assembly election?

Instead of answering any of this, the ECI releases an "unsigned" note, throws around empty statistics, and hides behind procedure. If everything was above board, why can’t even one official put their name on the record? Why is the Commission so allergic to transparency?

Is the Election Commission a constitutional body, or just another backstage crew in the BJP’s election theatre? Why does it sound more like a party spokesperson than the guardian of India's electoral integrity?

If this is not match-fixing, what is?!

कल घात लगाकर मेरे ऊपर किए गए जानलेवा हमले की निंदा करने और मेरे प्रति संवेदना प्रकट करने वाले मित्रों, नेताओं व शुभचिंतकों का दिल से आभार प्रकट करता हूं।

कल की तरह की घटना आज भले हीं मेरे साथ घटी है लेकिन आगे किसी भी समय ऐसी घटनाएं किसी भी दूसरी राजनीतिक पार्टियों के प��रमुखों और उनके समर्थकों के साथ घट सकती है। इसकी दो वजहें हैं। पहला ये कि उत्तर प्रदेश की कानून व्यवस्था लगातार बद से बदतर होती जा रही है और दूसरा ये कि सरकार अपराधियों को जाति और धर्म के आधार पर प्रश्रय देकर उसे संरक्षण प्रदान कर रही है जिससे सरकार समर्थित अपराधियों के हौसले बुलंद हैं। उनको आज न तो कानून का भय है और न हीं पुलिस का।

आज भारत के लोकतान्त्रिक मूल्य और बाबा साहेब का संविधान दोनों हीं खतरे में हैं। जब सरकार समर्थित बेखौफ घूमते अपराधी मेरे जैसे राजनेतों की आवाजों को खामोश करने के लिए हमले कर सकते हैं, खुलेआम कई राऊंड गोलियां चला सकते हैं तो इस प्रदेश की बहु- बेटियां, दलित, पिछड़े, आदिवासी और अल्पसंख्यकों के ऊपर कितना जुल्म और अत्याचार किया जा रहा है इसकी आप कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकते। सत्ता के नशे में लोग इतने पागल हो गए हैं कि ये अपने विरुद्ध उठने वाली आवाजों को मिटा देने पर तुले हैं। पहले ये लोग इसके लिए ED,CBI और इनकम टैक्स अधिकारियों का दुरुपयोग किया करते थे, फिर फेक पुलिस इनकाउंटर करवाने लगे और अब तो विपक्षी नेताओं को खत्म करने के लिए सरकार समर्थित अपराधी सीधे बंदूक-गोलियों से हमले करने लगे हैं।वो भूल रहे हैं कि भारतवर्ष का इतिहास हमारे पूर्वजों की कुर्बानियों से भरा पड़ा है। वो भूल रहे हैं कि आज भी हमारा बहुजन समाज बिना डरें सीमाओं पर अपनी जान देकर इस देश की रक्षा में जुटा है। मैं भी उसी समाज का एक हिस्सा हूं। इसलिए आप चंद्रशेखर को गोली और बंदूकों से न तो झुका सकते हैं न डरा सकते हैं और न ही डिगा सकते हैं। मेरा 56 इंच का सीना असली है नकली नहीं।

मेरे ऊपर हुआ जानलेवा हमला सरकार की विफलता ह�� क्योंकि प्रदेश के जनता की सुरक्षा सरकार की जिम्मेदारी होती है और मैं भी प्रदेश का एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक हूं। बीजेपी राज्य में बेखौफ अपराधियों को संरक्षण देने की नैतिक जिम्मेदारी स्वीकारते हुए मुख्यमंत्री जी को तत्काल प्रभाव से त्यागपत्र दे देना चाहिए।

@bhupeshbaghel अटैक के पहले IED sensors के द्वारा उन्हें खोजकर क्यु नहीं defuse किया गया? Sensors ड्रोन पर फिट कर DRG जवानों के वाहनों के आगे चलाकर IED को खोजा जा सकता था. आदिवासी जवानों की जाने बचाई जा सकती थी.
