July 31 2007 was the day Bear Stearns liquidated its subprime mortgage portfolios, marking the beginning of the GFC, and the eventual birth of Bitcoin.
Today the 30yr yield passed 5.2%, the highest level of the year and since that dramatic event.
The time for Bitcoin is near.
Bitcoin has won. Now it must survive victory.
Its gravest threat is not an enemy at the gates, but corruption from within: factions that invent pretexts, rewrite the rules, and seize economic rights until freedom becomes permission and law becomes loot.
Bitcoin’s core design is set in stone. Protocol changes should be rare, conservative, and driven by necessity, not ambition.
Don’t fix what isn’t broken.
there's a few 10x+ crypto opps at current prices that you can size into now & scale out of in ~12 months or so when it's consensus again, there will be some pretty clear winners for altcoins imo
$BTC - Bitcoin
3 upward waves in a bull market
3 downward waves in a bear market
I predict that wave 3 of the bear market will end before October this year
the BIGGEST advice for anybody entering their first crypto cycle:
60-70% majors you can hold 6-12 months+: BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE. add accumulation on a schedule, don't watch it
30-40% degen: onchain, momentum, perps. short timeframe stuff
and JOURNAL every trade. thesis + invalidations, written down. it's how i got good in 2020-2021 - my X is living proof of that
FTX happened because there was no CLARITY Act. The Trump coin, the Melania coin, and countless other shitcoins that destroyed hundreds of thousands of lives happened because there was no CLARITY Act. Hundreds of billions of dollars left the US because there was no CLARITY Act. The endless exchange “failures”(10/10) happened because there was no CLARITY Act.
Without the CLARITY Act, much more of the same will happen.
To vote against it, you either have to oppose protecting the people or have a personal interest in preserving these abuses.
$35M gone in hours. Verus, B² Network and other cross-chain protocols.
No cryptography broken. Stolen keys, upgrade rights, weak validation. Access control, not math.
Same thing every time. One key or one admin can drain the whole thing, and we still call that a security model. After Ronin and Wormhole, this isn't bad luck anymore.
It's funny to see chains that built their entire identity around superior technology or stablecoin adoption now completely folding and shilling memecoins just to attract a few users to their chain
