Just like the same scenario that happened in 2017 /18 in Goa, Manipur,Meghalaya and most importantly in Karnataka. The government was formed and then was asked to prove their majority in the “floor test “ in the assembly. Why is the governor of Tamil Nadu hesitating to give #thalapathyvijay the chance to form the government in the same manner. What is the respect for the people s mandate?????? We hav 233 mla s to be sworn in and we need a government and not a governor s rule after such a big mandate by #tvk with almost majority seats to form the government. These fundamental rights are known not just to politicians but to the most powerful force. The people of Tamil Nadu. Dear vijay. You should/will form the government. I as a voter am manifesting it.

Tamilnadu governor's refusal to invite Mr Vijay of TVK to form the government is unconscionable, undemocratic and violative of the letter and spirit of the Constitution. Whether the government enjoys the support of the legislature should be decided on the floor of the Assembly, not in the Raj Bhavan.
The Union government should immediately intervene and firmly advise the governor to immediately invite Vijay to form the government.
As long as the House does not vote out a government, even a minority government can survive and govern. There are many precedents - Indira Gandhi government after 1969 Congress split, PV government from 1991 to 1996 etc.
Governors have no business to put their thumb on the scale and play partisan politics in constitutional office.
The people of Tamilnadu gave an unusual verdict rejecting the prevailing political culture. Disrespecting that mandate will further erode public trust in politics and undermine democracy. We have seen in our neighbouring countries how such contempt for democratic norms will lead to street protests and collapse of governments.
I appeal to the PM and HM to act with wisdom and foresight and advise the governor to invite the leader of the largest legislative party to form the government. The President should intervene to protect the constitutional values. If the governor is still recalcitrant, he should be dismissed forthwith.

Her name was Divya Bharti.

She made her debut at 16 in a Telugu film. By 18, she was one of the highest paid actresses in India. 21 films in under three years. Vishwatma. Shola Aur Shabnam. Deewana. Balwaan. Shah Rukh Khan called her stunning as an actor.

She was 19 years old and at the very top.

In 1992, she secretly married producer Sajid Nadiadwala. She converted to Islam and became Sana Nadiadwala. The marriage was kept hidden from the public and from her own parents for months.

On April 5, 1993, she was at a fifth floor apartment in Tulsi Apartments, Versova, Mumbai. The apartment was not in her name. The owner was never publicly identified.

That evening, she had finalised a new flat in Bandra with her brother. She was leaving for another shoot the next morning. Her costume designer Neeta Lulla and her husband had come to finalise costumes for her next film.

At around 11 pm, she went toward the window. There was no grill. She stepped onto a 12 inch ledge outside, turned to face the room, lost her balance, and fell five floors into the parking lot below.

She was alive when the ambulance arrived. She died at the hospital.

Her housemaid Amrita, who had raised her from infancy, was present that night. She fell into severe depression and died of a heart attack within one month.

Neeta Lulla and her husband never gave a full public statement. Sajid Nadiadwala never gave a detailed account. He remarried later.

The investigation ran for five years. In 1998, it was closed. Official verdict accidental death.

Her parents were never fully satisfied with the answers they received.

She was 19. At the peak of everything.

Thirty two years later, the questions her parents asked have still never been properly answered.
