Pyth oracle settlement, explained:
At the end of each epoch, the option's outcome (ITM or OTM) is determined by a Pyth Network price feed — not by us, not by the market maker.

The settlement is verifiable on-chain. Anyone can check it. No trusted third party.

Most options vaults outsource the other side of the trade to external market makers. The vault writes options, then hopes someone shows up to bid.

That means quotes are competitive, auctions clear, and the vault actually generates the premium it's supposed to.

1] How Saturn's epoch cycle works — a quick walkthrough.

An "epoch" is roughly one week. Every epoch follows the same loop: Deposit → Write → Auction → Settle

4] SETTLE: At expiry, a Pyth oracle price feed determines the outcome.
OTM? Vault keeps SOL + premium. ITM? Strike portion is paid; the vault keeps the premium and the remainder.

Then the cycle resets. No user action required between deposit and withdrawal.
