Mr Modi is completely silent on the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The one who cried for Ram is silent when theft is happening in Ram's own home.

Mr Modi inaugurated the grand Ram Mandir and had become emotional and cried on the day of the inauguration. Today, allegations are emerging that money donated by devotees is being stolen from that very temple.

In the case of theft of donation money from the donation boxes of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, two more trust employees have been detained for questioning. One of them has recently purchased land worth around ₹1.5 crore, while the other bought a ₹40 lakh plot and has started constructing a house on it.

Lavkush Mishra, a trust employee and resident of Rudauli, has been taken into custody for questioning. Some cash was also recovered from his house. He recently purchased a plot worth around ₹40 lakh in Ayodhya and has also started house construction there.

Investigation agencies have also detained Sevarat Tiwari, who was posted in the temple's sanctum sanctorum, for questioning. It is reported that he purchased land worth around ₹1.5 crore a few months ago.

Now the question arises: how did an employee earning only around ₹18,000–₹20,000 per month become the owner of such expensive property?

Most of those detained so far were involved in counting donation money during the same shift. Anukalp Mishra, a resident of Milkipur, is being considered the networker of this group. Allegations have also been made against him regarding displays of luxury at Bhagwat Katha events and wedding ceremonies, as well as distributing sarees.

Lavkush Mishra started working at the Ram Mandir only 6 months ago. He was assigned the responsibility of counting the money received as donations.

Within just 6 months, he purchased a ₹40 lakh plot in Ayodhya, started construction work on it, and ₹10 lakh in cash was reportedly found at his house. Apart from this, more revelations regarding him are said to be yet to come.

Now think about it: a person joins the temple only 6 months ago and, within such a short period, accumulates such significant wealth. There are discussions about dozens of people like Lavkush. Information has also surfaced about some others who have purchased plots worth crores of rupees.

The biggest question is that so far, no FIR has been registered against anyone, nor has the temple administration issued any detailed public statement regarding this entire alleged embezzlement case. It is also being claimed that the CCTV footage related to the counting of donations is unavailable.

Whereas in many other major temples across the country, comparatively greater transparency can be seen regarding donations and accounting.

This entire matter has raised serious questions about the management and monitoring system of the Ram Mandir. Earlier too, controversies related to land purchases by the trust had surfaced and were widely discussed. Now, these allegations related to donation money have once again sparked a debate about accountability and transparency !

🇵🇰Pivot to Pakistan: Gulf states look beyond US military

Pakistan finds itself increasingly in demand as a security partner across the Persian Gulf.

It has deployed troops to Saudi Arabia, held discussions with Qatar about the latter joining the Pakistani-Saudi defense pact, and received a request from Bahrain to help train the kingdom’s pilots. There also growing high-level military contacts between Pakistan and Oman, Kuwait, and Lebanon.

This shift comes as Gulf states grow disillusioned with U.S. security guarantees after American bases on their territory were hit by Iranian missiles and drones.

"It is expansion of their defense area... not a replacement. It's basically diversification which the Gulf states are looking for,” Dr. Shaista Tabassum of the University of Karachi told Sputnik.
