In this video, Dr. Anubhuti Rana, Associate Professor, Department of OBGYN, explains how skin-to-skin contact helps support a baby’s physical growth, emotional well-being, and neurological regulation.

She also highlights that kangaroo care is not limited to mothers alone — fathers, grandparents, and close caregivers can all play an important role in nurturing and strengthening parent-child bonding through this practice.

AIIMS Delhi introduced India’s first portable bedside Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system, enabling rapid brain imaging for critically ill patients in ICUs, emergencies, and neurosurgical care.

The ultra-low-field device can be wheeled directly to patients, eliminating the need for dedicated MRI suites or risky patient transfers.
