Why AI Will Save The World
By Marc Andreessen
The era of Artificial Intelligence is here, and boy are people freaking out.
Fortunately, I am here to bring the good news: AI will not destroy the world, and in fact may save it.
🧵
I actually think “Snapchat for work” might be a good idea today in big co’s.
Work comms platforms have always followed what teenagers were doing ten years ago (IRC -> Slack).
In the age of AI slop the most efficient form of communication is just short videos of yourself speaking.
a top VC validated our idea today, feeling good about the work we have done in the last 3 months
announcing the waitlist next month
taking on some big guys HEAD-ON,
wish us luck🙏🏻
controversial take:
spent 4 hours (virtually) with my cofounder and we reverse-engineered our competitor's entire product
biggest thing we realised was that even startups backed by top VCs are larping at this point and just blatantly vibe coding without proper guardrails
