A Hanuman Temple unearthed at Kolkolighat near Bangla border in Patharkandi. Local people till now were unaware of the temple. A local man had vowed to built a Hanuman temple if the area remained with India during partition. It is believed that this is the temple built by him.

Two incidents of bombing in kolkata during KMC elections so far. First incident happened infront to f Khanna school and 2nd incident happened at Taki boys school both in North Kolkata. One voter is allegedly injured in the bombing near Taki school.
