Would love to see cheerleading return to the old days where each athlete and coach respected each other because we all had the same passion and love for cheer!
It didn’t matter the size of your gym or what team you cheered for, there was an underlying respect for what each person brought to the table.
There was no such thing as a cheerlebrity because we all were on the same team to advance the sport. I believe there are unintended consequences by being a cheerlebrity. Some people love you and some just flat out hate you. so IMHO it’s better to do your best to just be you and do you without the fame.
I was told I was great back in my day, but I never let that go to my head because I honestly felt that there were so many athletes better than me and feeling that way kept me grounded and humble. I fostered great relationships around the world because I didn’t move through this industry like I was better than anyone else. I just had a passion to help others along the way and a passion to always push myself. BUT most importantly I was KIND to everyone I met.
The cheer industry is lacking this today. We need to learn how to treat each other better. We need to learn that just because athletes may not be up to a standard most think they should be doesn’t mean they don’t have something to offer!!!!!
So with all the being said, this is my plea to make sure we show love, compassion, respect and humbleness to each other because we may not know what someone is going through. Your kind words may be just the thing that someone may need to hear.🙏🏾

Congratulations Sonic Elite Olympia Sheros on your Bronze finish and well done to our finalists! 🏅🏔️
Cheers to Thunder Elite Lightning finishing their season in the 95+ club at every competition I covered this season. 👏⚡️
I hate to say it… What the heck am I seeing in the cheer world… Some of the music, uniforms, practice wear, themes, un-athletic routines, etc are just embarrassing…
Sonic Knights & Thunder Lightning continued their season long streaks hitting 95+. Incredible work guys! 🤍
Looking forward to seeing Hero Valor taking this unique title in the post season performances!

@blopified I stay pretty quiet but hopping on to say my peace. I was on a team with Lani for only a couple months but that was enough time for her character to speak volumes. I have nothing but good things to say about her and so much respect. Truly one of the sweetest athletes ever.
@maybecryaboutit@CheerFessions1 Sounds like you only like typical copy and paste cheerleading. Their routines, specifically lighting are creative, strong and original.
Creativity takes courage!
As far as numbers go…our coaches prioritize building our character and heart before building their pay check.
