More college athletic directors need to be held accountable for their poor leadership and guidance. If sports programs are being permanently cut to “save money” after only one year of these circumstances, than your department was not well prepared to begin with.

Appreciate everyone’s efforts to save the baseball program but unfortunately we came up short. At the recommendation of Athletic Director, Elliot Charles, baseball has been cut and men’s soccer will be added in its place. Sad and disappointing day for Chicago State University

Vote has been officially approved to cut baseball after Mr. Charles presentation. In its place, men’s soccer will be added as a reported competitive and cost savings measure eff 20-21 year.
