Managed to get Claude working on the Xbox 360. Claude360.xex Currently has 9 custom console-side tools, no PC bridge required. Works on all models. Local LLM support is also possible.
I visited the biggest CRT video wall in the USA. Nam June Paik's Electronic Superhighway. The art exhibit was originally designed in 1995 with 336 CRTs, 50 DVD players, & miles of cables. In the early 2000s, Paik donated the exhibit to the Smithsonian Museum on the condition that the museum would come to his studio in New York, disassemble everything & safely store it to setup in Washington DC. You can see this exhibit for free today at the Smithsonian American Art Museum on the 3rd floor. It's an inspiring setup to see in person, but the CRTs are disappearing from the wall, one at a time. I highly recommend you go see it if you are in the capitol. Happy Birthday America.
@july31@ilySwirls You actually have no idea the workflow he is working with. You don't know enough about Ark if you think this is solely AI driven. He has the proper tools he needs to do debugging, testing, and diagnosing. Development costs time and money, & it costs money to use top tier models.
So the other day I had a thought.. we're porting UI's and such over from consoles, or recreating them.. But what about like, the homebrew consoles had. Specifically, the cool ass emulator ports XPort and madmab did for things on Xbox that made the menu feel like a game. Well... 3 days later, ported that system. Needs some work but this was fun.
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Xbox 360 has a playable developer 'pathtestmap' level, and a special debug menu with a selection of options. There's also some E3 content left in the game files as well. This is playable in Xenia with a few tweaks.
