I dont think so. I'm supporting @DionneforDC someone that supports the restaurant community and doesn't vote for lobbyists groups interests from outside #DC#initiative77 to push their agenda. Also, a candidate endorsed by @washingtonpost
@Ana_ExAFLCIO@MrsTipCredit@JakeRosenfeld1@NelpNews DC Voters chose years ago to pass an initiative that imposed max/min sentencing for drug offenses, and the Council overturned it. We can't seem to find a record of outcries from you.
Tipped Worker Karim Soumah had this to say, “I’m glad that @councilofdc hopefully laid the issue around the tipped credit system to rest – it works here in DC. Now our industry can get back to focusing on what we pride ourselves on, providing great service and fare...” #Repeal77
CM @BrianneKNadeau we are disappointed in your vote not to support the workers and #SmallBusiness owners of your Ward. But we are even more dismayed by your flippant comment that you would use the copies of thousands of messages we delivered to you as a doorstop. #Initiative77
@DanielFordDC@BrianneKNadeau She represents all in her ward, and if you condone any elected official telling their constituents whether or not they agree with them that their direct messages mean no more than dead weight than you have lost sight of the bigger picture.
No @tweetelissa, you didn’t listen to tipped workers or #SmallBusiness owners. We asked you to #Repeal77, and you chose an electoral gimmick that still did harm to the hospitality industry and the workers that are employed in it.
