As a part of its rape of the Green Belt around Oxford, Cherwell District Council plans to close Sandy Lane, the busy link between the villages of Yarnton and Kidlington, forcing yet more traffic onto the overcrowded A44 and extra miles on the daily journey of hundreds of people.
"Alan Lodwick (@CherwellWatch) said he had concerns about how #Oxford city had arrived at the target of 1,400 homes a year ... an update in 2018 had put estimates for housing need at a lower target of 776, and he questioned why this had not been followed."

Responses to the consultation need to be submitted by 11.59pm on Friday 20 December 2019.
