In our view, commercialising democratically-controlled public green space to make a privately-owned corporate enterprise financially solvent (or a nice profit?), is completely inappropriate on green belt land next to a nature reserve...
Stratfield Brake stadium proposal to be discussed at Kidlington Parish Council Public Meeting this Thursday (26th May) 7.30pm - https://t.co/9fO2h13Oq4
CDWA's independent peer review finds serious flaws in the Oxfordshire Growth Needs Assessment. Oxford Times says "Essential that Councils take note of new report on housing". Listen up @futureoxpartner
Great to see @RosieP4 letter published in Sunday Times! Sent in response to @rcolvile "we must build build build and stuff the NIMBY's" article @CommunityPlann1
Not forgetting that Oxford United FC want to fill the last remaining space at Stratfield Brake with a football stadium commercial complex ! Make that four consultations on filling the Kidlington Gap
You wait months for a Planning Consultation then 3 come at once .... Development briefs to build in (what was) the Kidlington Gap Green Belt at PR7a Water Eaton Lane, PR6b (Golf Club) and PR6a - Cutteslowe @Cherwellwatch@greenwayoxon - see https://t.co/USbJRI7tzg
A review is essential to prove the OGNA is fit for purpose after so much criticism from experts. It will cost nothing in comparison with 'getting it right' !

Developers have too much influence in planning; they also have too much influence on Councils. Lets not forget that Cherwell bias in favour of letting Oxford University build on our green belt is a documented fact.
Cherwell is consulting on the draft 'development briefs' for sites at Stratfield Farm (PR7b) and Land West of Yarnton to the A44 (PR9). Have your say - respond by 22nd Sept. Visit:

The proposed future of Begbroke as outlined in the Universities 'Master Plan'. All university and not a house in sight… surely this is not what the Local Plan proposed?

No reprieve for the Green Belt north of Oxford. We've been fighting plans to build on the Green Belt since 2015. Sadly, our long 'David and Goliath' battle is finally lost. Thanks to all our supporters for backing us https://t.co/nxhflBOtUN
We've had our day (and a half) in Court and thank all our tireless team and supporters for making this happen. Now we can only wait. Read more here- https://t.co/vkK5uLTXjO
The Arc plans will be enacted through government using private contractors. There is no reason they won't be created or sold for profit purposes. Local councils will have no say where, how many or how expensive these 1 million new homes are.
Use your vote to stop the Arc.
This depressing summary of the free-for-all in national development is a real wake up call on the politics driving Oxfordshire's urbanisation https://t.co/o1ZSDcDZQm
