For years, Scott Pelley sat behind the 60 Minutes desk as one of corporate media’s most celebrated “journalists.”
This week, CBS fired him.
Now Pelley is claiming the network is casting him aside to appease the Trump administration
Pelley spent his career using one of the most powerful platforms in American media not to challenge power, but to protect the left’s preferred narratives.
He gave Andrew McCabe soft treatment. He helped Merrick Garland explain away the timing of Trump’s indictments. He helped CBS frame parents concerned about explicit books in schools as irrational censors. And when he interviewed Democrat lawyer Marc Elias, he left out key details viewers needed to understand Elias’ role in the Russia collusion hoax.
That is not journalism. That is propaganda.
Scott Pelley’s firing may be welcome news to Americans tired of being lectured by partisan activists posing as neutral journalists.
But Pelley is only one face of a much larger problem.
For decades, corporate media has buried facts that threaten the left’s preferred narratives, protected institutions that deserve scrutiny, smeared ordinary Americans who dare to object, and presented partisan propaganda as objective reporting.
As long as they’re counting ballots after Election Day in California, it only means one thing: Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton are out of the runoffs for LA Mayor and Governor.
In fact, Gavin Newsom confirmed it just two weeks ago.
When asked about the possibility of ending up with two Republican candidates for governor and no Democrats, he said:
We will have to topple the state government of California, and that is exactly what the Democrats are going to do.
“We all have agencies. We can shape the future. I don’t anticipate this being the case, but there is a ‘break the glass scenario.’ There are many people who have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out, and we’re going to do everything to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ll leave it there.”
Let’s be clear. It’s not that California can’t count votes timely, it doesn’t want to. The system is set up to be corrupt, to ensure Democrat Party control, one party rule. Not long ago California was a reliable Republican state. Even Ronald Reagan couldn’t win there if he were alive today.
You wanna hear something funny?
Lemme tell y’all what Rep. LaMonica McIver just said to Secretary Mullin during the hearing. Paraphrasing but you get the gist…
“You wanna talk about racism and everything… tell me why every person locked up in Delaney Hall is a foreigner?” 🤡
Who’s gonna tell her that ICE facilities ONLY house illegal aliens?
GOOD LORD! Democrats are truly the stupidest breed out there. 😂😂
How are Democrats cheating in L.A.?
Let me show you…
There are 26 registered voters at this toilet in Los Angeles.
I’m not kidding. I have the voter records. See for yourself. The only thing here is a stinky port-a john inside an empty parking lot.
No homes. No mailboxes. No businesses. Yet TWENTY SIX ‘people’ are casting ballots here.
Straight-up voter fraud out in the open. This just a glimpse of what’s happening under Gavin Newsom.
This is why California desperately needs Voter ID — and we must pass the Save Act NOW.
California is going to steal the election from Spencer Pratt. Had the senate not dicked around and actually did pass the Save America Act this wouldn't be happening.
California is corrupt. We all see it.
Our representatives in the Senate are a huge failure. YUGE.
There is literally nothing California could do to make their elections less secure.
Mail in ballots and No ID.
Weeks of counting with no real chain of custody.
The fraud is staggering.
It’s an insult to America.
It’s an insult to Americans.
John Thune must be proud especially after watching what is taking place in California. It was a two horse race between Pratt and Bass until it came to counting the paper ballots. The ballots they tell us take weeks to count.
Funny, we used to do presidential elections in a few hours but today with all the technology it takes weeks in the most corrupt state in our country. How is it even remotely possible to have over 30 million votes when there are under 23 million registered? It’s not and watching Thune and Republicans sit back and say nothing, do nothing is a fucking travesty.
Somehow Democrats find millions of votes that don’t exist and this dirty, corrupt scumbag John Thune can’t find 51 votes to secure our elections and taking the cheat from the Democrats.
It’s not just Thune because the do nothing Republicans can’t even find 5 people to get together and remove Thune. As long as Thune is leader, Dems will be able to do Dem like things including cheating in our elections.
All because he’s part of the club. All because he hates Trump. If this doesn’t light a fire under everyone’s ass that these are desperate times with much needed desperate measures than nothing will. The bottom line. Find a way to get it done over are fucked. We’ve come too far, fought too hard to have a few politicians hold our countries fate in their hands. Find a way and let’s get it done, whatever it takes. My two cents
People ask why the CA vote-counting process takes so long.
@Elex_Michaelson of @CNN explains it clearly here.
But the short answer is the state values participation plus thorough scrutiny of ballots over speed.
I used to believe that Donald Trump was simply an exceptional president.
But then, I watched in real time as the Mainstream Media (mainstream media), the FBI, intelligence agencies, the CIA, Big Tech, and the entire Washington establishment joined forces in an unprecedented campaign to destroy a single man.
The numerous lawsuits, the two impeachments, the endless hoaxes including the Russia one, the Mar-a-Lago raid, the gag orders, the efforts to remove him from the ballot, the attempts to bankrupt him and throw him in prison... all of that was aimed at preventing him from returning to power. Two attempts on his life followed.
With 92% of media coverage being negative toward him while 78% of that for Kamala was positive, he managed to secure a convincing victory in the last election. How do you explain that?
That's when it became undeniable for me: no one faces this level of coordinated and hysterical opposition unless they represent a true existential threat to the system... The system we all know is corrupt and broken. Ordinary politicians don't trigger this kind of coordinated panic.
At that moment, I stopped thinking of him as a great president.
He is the greatest of all time.
Can California Still Be Saved? https://t.co/irJpMZwO6K via @VDHanson
"Election Day in California is a mere construct, since winners often mysteriously do not emerge for weeks."
In a place where people vote for any tax/fee hike floated, don't expect them to save themselves.
