Chris Van Dyke

A high school teacher with two kids. I've been a gamer forever, and currently very excited about introducing my kids to gaming and finding solo games for myself

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

Super excited that my @kickstarter copy of #dungeontime by @AresGamesSrl arrived!

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

Ridiculously happy with my new solid metal #d20 #criticalhit

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

@jackmonkeygames no, but I've done tarot reading for a PC as an NPC fortune teller in character

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

@lostagegames how about with a 7 year old? I review games and blog about playing with my two kids, 5-7.

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

@lostagegames suggested age and # of players?

[Travis McElroy (Self Parody) @travismcelroy]

Also, as a life long theatre kid, really weird to see a bunch of people criticizing theatre for using the stage to deliver a message?

[TabletopGamingDeals @Tabletop_Deals]

Forbidden Island for only $8.39 30% off. This one helped my oldest learn to read :D

@emolinsky Good timing - I ordered these pins right after Trump's election. Arrived along with the new podcast

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

@OhNoPodcast but seriously, thanks for some humor this week. Need a laugh

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

Finally got around to listening to @OhNoPodcast "Melissa Scott" episode 2. Thanks, Carrie. Seems we can blame you for Trump2016...

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

@jackmonkeygames ALL? That would be a lot of dice to match :)

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

@Wizards_DnD (also, apparently too lazy to spell "too" correctly)

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

To cheap to buy the official @Wizards_DnD DM screen, so scotch tape, photocopies, and cardboard it is. #nerdcrafts

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

#nowmorethanever I'd love to run a @Wizards_DnD campaign with @stevencolbert @tanehisicoates and @junotdiaz

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

Wondering what a #TrumpPresident would be like, so reading the entry for "dracolitch" in the @Wizards_DnD #monstermanual

[Glen Weldon @ghweldon]

As long as we're floating Cabinet names, GIVE IT UP FOR YOUR NEW TREASURY SECRETARY BITCHES

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

It's like our nation rolled a natural 1 on a savings throw, declared we have advantage so rolled again -- and got another natural 1.

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

#dmproblems 20 pages of history, factions, NPC intrigue, and an epic plot ... and no adventure for a party of 1st level PCs.

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

@TheZoneCast Hey guys, what's the online DM/PC tool you've mentioned a few times? Wanted to try it but can't remember the name...

[Chris Van Dyke @savevsparenting]

Starting a 5e campaign soon. Using GDrive to share files with PCs - any other good online resources for a DM these days? @jackmonkeygames
