Exciting news from @sawfishid! Their project will describe the current presence, distribution, and diversity of #sawfish species in Asmat Regency, Papau. They will also be investigating the cultural and economic value of sawfish for the people in that region.

Our project will carry out in Asmat Regency, Papua which is an area dominated by coastal areas, mangroves, and swamps. Back in history, sawfishes were ever captured in this area. Does it still exist nowadays? Our research will reveal the facts too.
