Sudan is currently experiencing the world's largest and fastest-growing displacement crisis. More than nine million people remain displaced in Sudan, while nearly 29 million face acute hunger. A humanitarian disaster.
Everyone felt sad for the penguin walking alone and the monkey rejected by his mother. But this video is far more heartbreaking, yet it didn’t receive the same attention.
Reeling from the news that dear friends @ftounifatima and @cheib1970 have been killed in an I$raeli strike in the south of Lebanon.
Heartbroken beyond words. And make no mistake that this was a deliberate, targeted assassination of journalists. A war crime.
We owe them a debt that can never be repaid. Words are not enough right now
Rest in power. We will continue our work in your honour.
After much reflection, and after it became clear to me that some UN seniors are serving a powerful lobby and not the UN, I have decided to suspend all my duties as PVA Main Representative at the UN and from all UN committees/groups of which I am a member.
I cannot in good conscience be part of or witness to what is happening at a time when the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use.
It has been an honor cooperating with the UN for nearly 12 years under different Secretaries-General and Human Rights Council Presidents, leading PVA delegation.
May God bless this world.

Has a single Western media outlet reported that in order to carry out the extra judicial killing of Ali Larijani, Israel murdered an additional 100 civilians? Were those 100 people not on the West's liberation list?
Though it is day, the sun cannot be seen in Tehran today because of all the smoke following the US and Israel bombing Tehran's oil refineries. People on the ground describe it as armageddon.
History will not forgive Reza Pahlavi, Masih Alinejad, Nazanin Boniadi, and all other "leaders" who tricked Iranians into thinking this war would set them free.
Personal account from Tehran:
Tehran is starting to feel like Beirut, a place where war becomes part of everyday life. People go to work, shop, and walk around while somewhere in the background an explosion erupts.
I took this photo at Parvaz Park yesterday, Monday. People had gathered on the hill to look out over the city and watch the destruction from above. Fear was in the air. People held their friends and loved ones and all they could do was watch. If you are not here, multiply whatever you imagine about how bad things are by a thousand. The situation is truly bad. Dire. Like a kind of hell filled with uncertainty.
But life somehow continues. Maybe we are the only people who can gather together and turn disaster into a moment to talk, or even make jokes about calamity. I walked through the park and spoke with people. At the end everyone said the same thing to each other: “Stay alive.” That might be the most honest description of life in Tehran right now. Don’t die. Stay alive.
What will happen? I don’t know. I still have a kind of foolish optimism that Iran will survive this, that it will lick its wounds and continue, the way it has throughout its long history. But one thing is certain. We will never be the same people again after this. We have seen too much.
Today the city was strangely beautiful. Spring is coming. The air was gentle and Tehran, in its tragic beauty, felt soaked in blood. We are trying to live despite all those inside and outside these borders who wish death upon us. If I do not make it out of this hell, I only hope that Tehran itself survives with its people, because as we say, “Where people remain, there is life.”
