The latest attacks on Russia were a response to Russian strikes on Ukraine, including on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

“If Putin does not want to end this war, if he wants to continue it, we will not sit quietly. We will respond. The response must be strong and fair.”

Zelenskyy also called for increasing pressure on Russia through sanctions on its energy sector, shadow fleet, banking system, and defense industry.

🇺🇦😎 Zelensky: Tonight, our long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region again: for the second time in a week, the Moscow Oil Refinery was hit.

Targets in the Rostov region and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were also hit.

A completely fair response to Russian strikes on our cities and communities and another important result of the work of our soldiers on the facilities that provide support for the Russian military machine.

These days, all our partners have noted the accuracy and effectiveness of our middle strikes and long-range sanctions. It is time to end this war, and Russia must take the necessary steps in diplomacy.

I met with Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer. The United Kingdom has taken new important decisions in support of Ukraine and introduced new sanctions steps against Russia’s shadow fleet. Thank you! All of this works towards peace.

I informed Keir about the consequences of the recent Russian strikes. We discussed the possible participation of the United Kingdom in the restoration of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the implementation of the agreements reached during today’s G7–Ukraine meeting, potential areas for further pressure on Russia, and steps to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense.

Під час зустрічі з Президентом Кенії Вільямом Руто обговорили розвиток високотехнологічної співпраці у різних сферах: залучення інвестицій, сільське господарство та освіта. Ми готові ділитися з Кенією своїм досвідом і реалізовувати спільні проєкти. Домовилися, що команди опрацюють деталі можливої співпраці.

During a meeting with President of Kenya @WilliamsRuto, we discussed the development of high-tech cooperation across various sectors: investment attraction, agriculture, and education. We are ready to share our experience with Kenya and implement joint projects. We agreed that our teams will work out the details of possible cooperation.

I thank Kenya for supporting Ukraine’s resolutions in the United Nations General Assembly. We also paid special attention to cooperation within international organizations.

Важливо й надалі просуватися в переговорному процесі за цим напрямом. Обговорили графік відкриття наступних п’яти кластерів і подальші кроки на шляху європейської інтеграції України.

Окрема увага – реалізації фінансового пакета підтримки та підготовці до надання першого траншу, посиленню санкцій проти Росії та дипломатичним зусиллям для досягнення миру. Поки Росія має намір продовжувати війну, треба посилювати протиповітр��ну оборону України та працювати над узгодженням гарантій безпеки для нашої країни.

I met with the President of the European Council, António Costa @eucopresident, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen @vonderleyen. I am grateful to the European Union for opening the first negotiation cluster for Ukraine and Moldova. It is important to keep advancing the negotiation process along this track. We discussed the timetable for opening the next five clusters and further steps on Ukraine’s path towards European integration.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the financial support package and preparations for the disbursement of the first tranche, strengthening sanctions against Russia, and diplomatic efforts to achieve peace. As long as Russia intends to continue the war, Ukraine’s air defense must be strengthened, and work must continue on aligning security guarantees for our country.

The G7 Summit in France delivered important results for Ukraine. Most importantly, we agreed on additional strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense. There will be new steps to put pressure on Russia over its war – pressure for the sake of peace. Our partners will ensure support for our defense and energy resilience.

It is important that we have a shared understanding of the main challenges and concrete steps to respond to them. Our global unity is truly reducing Russia’s ability to continue this insane and criminal aggression against Ukraine. I thank everyone who is helping us!
